Dan Kirk, The Juggler With The Yellow Shoes began performing full-time in 1993. Dan discovered juggling when he was 16 years old and he was hooked. He enjoyed practicing and getting better. Once he was able to juggle balls continuously, he needed to challenge himself. He got juggling pins, juggling rings, and other commonly used props. Then a friend of his challenged him with machetes. The game had changed! The challenge was accepted.

When appropriate, Dan juggles the dangerous things. But what makes him so fun is his ability to connect with an audience. Then he’ll use audience participation and volunteers to make the every show personal.

Dan juggles a variety of things. But it’s not what you juggle or even how many you juggle that makes for a good show. It’s how you do it and Dan does it right.
