Festival & Fair Season
Fair and festival season is upon us! Dan Kirk, The Juggler With The Yellow Shoes, is a great option to bring added enjoyment to your fair and/or festival.
Dan Kirk is a prop comic juggler who specializes in family entertainment at fairs and festivals across the country. Although Dan performs mostly in the Midwest, he’d love to venture out to your area for 3 or more days of stage shows and/or strolling entertainment.
Dan recently just finished performing for 3 days at the Barron County Fair in Rice Lake, Wisconsin where he did his fun blend of strolling entertainment each day. Stilt-walking, creating balloon animals and hats, cruising around and juggling while riding a hover board, making giant bubbles, and even doing a few yo-yo tricks were all part of a day! Dan will pick and choose what to do during the time slot you’d like.
Dan Kirk is currently in the middle of a run at the Bremer County Fair in Waverly, Iowa where he did three stage shows on his first day. Stage shows are packed with action, juggling, audience participation, volunteers, and some big laughs. Dan stage shows are 30 minutes long and are typically preceded with a 10 minute pre-show. (yo-yo tricks, countdown to the show, and talking to the audience). Dan needs a space to perform like a stage in a pavilion or a stage in a tent or even just a hard flat surface that is protected from the sun. Dan will bring his own sound equipment, prop table, props, and everything he needs to put on a great show!
After the Bremer County Fair, Dan is off to the Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a 9 day run. He’ll probably be doing a mix of stage shows and strolling. The most common arrangement for a day at a fair is 2 stage shows and a set or two of strolling.
Although it may be too late to have The Juggler With The Yellow Shoes at your fair or festival this year, now is the time to think about next year. Book early to make sure you get Dan Kirk at your fair or festival.
